seer: aries season tarot love letter

reflecting, predicting, anchoring four of swords

hello lovers,

welcome to (the middle of) aries season, we love, we are loved, and we are - love. if you are an aries exalted sun supreme, happy birthday and solar return to us!

we are a bit “off-schedule” with the timing of this sharing, but as gandalf would say “a wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.” we are that wizard, and in true aries fashion: we do whatever the fuck we want.

the current transit aquarius mars-saturn conjunction is both the ending and beginning of a two-year cycle of conflicts and limitations, providing a release and relief to the stories of pain (mars) and grief (saturn) we endured. regardless, malefic planets are also functional as healthy altercations and required boundaries to support our growth stories. it all depends on the conditions of these planets in our charts, and how we approach these moments as portals of transcendence. from personal experience, we have witnessed both parts of the archetypes manifest either externally or internally. in aquarius - perhaps the past two years have highlighted how radically different we are from certain people, but the difference should not immediately be punished or subjected to the alienation of the self or the other, though those feelings could co-exist. coexistence itself is an aquarius principle. thus, as we move through another mars-saturn cycle, it is important to remember how we have endured the coexistence of pain (mars) and pleasure (venus), the coexistence of hope (jupiter) and despair (saturn), the coexistence of light (sun) and shadow (moon) in our lives.

pisces venus ingress is something we should celebrate, as venus has not been in her best condition to date: she retrograded in capricorn, encountered pluto, and besieged between mars and saturn in aquarius. i hope you embrace pisces venus time to treatchoself - through your (re)imagination of love, beauty, art, aesthetics, sensuality, devotion, relationality, and all things venusian. wherever venus is, she will always be interested in holding things together - holding mental and relational peace through libra, holding tangible and material support through taurus, holding imaginal and divine support through pisces. jupiter is at home in pisces, and he pushes venusian agenda to greater heights. on a personal level, we have venus as our profected timelord: we love her more this year and look forward to this beautiful transit.

for aries season, we are pulling just one tarot card for contemplation to summarize everything, also to showcase how a card is enough, because you are enough, also because aries archetype is about the individual - the one:

the first interpretation represents somewhat the past - hence the “reflecting.”

the second interpretation represents somewhat the future - therefore the “predicting.”

the third interpretation represents somewhat the present - thus the “anchoring.”

“somewhat” because all of us experience the concept of time differently, for us - time is perpetually bending and blending, more chaotic and less systematic.

the reflecting card: four of swords

this aries season, we are being asked to be less concerned with what we have, but more concerned with why we have what we have. the fours in the tarot have a lot to do with foundational structures of our lives, the swords are concerned with truth and clarity. perhaps we are being asked to reflect on how much have we gained and acquired over the past year - and from the things we “gained,” we are being asked to filter - are all those gains reflective of our personal truths? four of swords demands us to contemplate - because without contemplation, we could never release any harmful mental patterns, without contemplation we could never have more because more is never enough, because most people do not understand the concept of enough for themselves, so we begin with enough-ness with ourselves first, we begin with what we have - here and now, and release certain things we have gained.

the predicting card: four of swords

this aries season, we are using rest as a space of manifestation. pisces transits are inherently sleepy transits, some people believe that when we sleep, we die temporarily (this is not true scientifically), and when we die - we dissolve our consciousness through all possible levels and realms. the decan correspondence of four of swords is jupiter in libra: how could we balance the information gained from the material world as important as the insights illuminated through the immaterial, the metaphysical world? use your sleep wisely this aries season - sleep has a way of igniting the primordial fire within you. you do not necessarily need to document your dreams, though it would be helpful to do so. i feel more importantly, you need to be in awe with your dream-life, and use that awe for something more, sleep is not for the weak, sleep is for the bravest of us all, the most fantastical stories come from dreams. if you don’t usually dream - maybe you should write about something you wish to dream about.

the anchoring card: four of swords
